Course Code: U1932
The course was formerly called ‘Be Inspired to Write’.
Join our supportive writing circle and experience a relaxed approach to writing short pieces of fiction and memoir. If you have basic skills in sentence and paragraph structure, it’s surprisingly easy to get in touch with your creativity. Discover how simple, guided relaxation processes and writing prompts can get your words flowing onto paper, and your self-confidence soaring. We’re not fussy about punctuation, spelling or grammar and we don’t do academic critiquing—our focus is getting words on paper in an engaging and fun way. The second half of the class is optional, for those who wish to write solidly on their stories or memoirs. No creative writing experience needed. Please bring in A4 exercise book and pens.
It is a group that meets to share life experiences by writing short stories, memoirs, poetry etc. in a friendly, supportive and non-threatening environment.
